The second public hearing in conjunction with the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the security plan for One Police Plaza will be on Oct. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the second floor auditorium of 125 Worth St. The N.Y.P.D. plan would keep Park Row closed to most vehicles for security reasons, but open it up to pedestrians. Many Chinatown residents and businesses have criticized the plan. The environmental report concludes the street closure has effected traffic, but not businesses.
People will need photo identification to enter and written and oral questions will be accepted during the meeting.
