Police in Brooklyn are looking for a creep who grabbed a woman’s buttocks in an apartment building last week.

Law enforcement sources said that on Tuesday, May 7, at approximately 8 a.m., an unidentified man followed a 55-year-old woman into a residential building in the vicinity of Wallabout Street and Marcy Avenue in Williamsburg. Once inside, the suspect got closer and grabbed the victim’s buttocks, police said.

The woman, who police said worked in the building, immediately screamed — prompting a neighbor from a nearby apartment to come outside. As soon as the perp saw the other person, he fled fast on foot toward Marcy Avenue, according to police officials.

Officers from the 90th Precinct received a 911 call about the incident, but the perp was gone before cops arrived.

The victim did not report any injuries as a result of the crime, police said.

No arrests have been made yet, but the NYPD released a surveillance photo and video of the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
