Embezzlement arrest

A Manhattan grand jury last week indicted the bookkeeper for the New York County Lawyer’s Association, 14 Vesey St., for grand larceny for stealing $331,376 from the association between April 2005 and January 2008.

Feb. 5 when bail was set at $75,000 pending a Feb. 26 court appearance. The charge is punishable by up to five to 15 years in prison.
