Subway death
A man who was found unconscious on an Uptown-bound A train at the Broadway-Nassau St. subway station on Tuesday evening Jan. 31 died that night at New York Downtown Hospital, police said. The man, 33, whose name was withheld pending family notification, showed no sign of trauma. The Medical Examiner’s office is investigating the cause of death.
Jumper
A resident of 77 Columbia St. in the Samuel Gompers Houses, Edward Young Fondo, 62, jumped to his death at 6:35 p.m. Sun. Jan 29, police said.
