TAKE OUT

Two thieves cleaned out a Washington St. restaurant on Aug. 29, taking a variety of miscellaneous goods.

A restaurant rep told police that the eatery between Carlisle and Rector Sts. was closed, but unlocked at 11:02 p.m., when the crooks let themselves in and started stealing. The thieves made off with bank cards, headphones, sunglasses, bags, and a Metrocard, among other items, cops said.

Cops arrested an alleged thief suspected of beating a man with a baseball bat on Broad St. in order to get his phone on Aug. 25.

The victim told police that he was near S. William St. at 10:40 p.m., when the suspect allegedly clocked him in the head with the Louisville Slugger and grabbed his cell phone.

After cops collared the suspect, they recovered the victim’s phone and the victim identified the man as his attacker, police said.

Cops are hunting a pint-sized perp who nabbed a phone from out the hands of a 40-year-old man in The Battery on Aug. 24.

The victim told police that he was near South and State Sts. at 6:30 p.m., when the teen, who looked to be about 14-years-old, rode by on his bike and snatched the cell.

The kid then easily outpaced the middle-aged man and made his escape, cops said.

The 24-year-old victim told police that she was near Beekman St. at 11:30 a.m. when the thief grabbed her $4,300 Louis Vatton purse and was gone in an instant.

A police search came up empty following the theft, and no surveillance footage could be found of the crime, according to police.
