On Monday, Sept. 19, elected officials joined executives from Gouverneur Hospital to officially open the hospital’s new Center for Community Health and Wellness and The Residence at Gouverneur Court, at 227 Madison St. It marked the end of a roughly $200 million expansion and renovation project primarily funded by the N.Y.C. Health and Hospitals Corporation.
