Clinton Correctional Facility officials realized two convicted murderers, Richard Matt and David Sweat, were missing from their cells on June 6, 2015.
That discovery sent them on a nearly three-week-long manhunt to locate the New York prison escapees who sawed their way out of their cells with aid from an employee, Joyce Mitchell.
