About two-dozen demonstrators — including members of Veterans for Peace, Code Pink and Grannies Against the War — joined the War Resisters’ League’s Nov. 18 “Coffin Walk.” Carrying flag-draped coffins, they wended from Washington Square through the Village and Chelsea to the 22nd St. Army recruiting station, where they stood silently for several minutes. Police were accommodating, walking alongside the march and stopping traffic at intersections so they could walk through the traffic lights. Above, the marchers crossed at 23rd St. and Sixth Ave.
