A man called “Crazy Legs” Conti, left, proved he could eat his way out of a sarcophagus filled with popcorn, Tuesday in an effort to promote his film, “Crazy Legs Conti: Zen and the Art of Competitive Eating,” which premiered that evening at the Tribeca Film Festival. Actor Will Smith, above, greeted well wishers on Greenwich St. on the festival’s opening day, May 1, after attending a private lunch at the Tribeca Grill, co-owned by Robert De Niro, festival co-founder. Pedicab drivers were at the ready last Saturday for the first day of the third annual festival.
