Atlantic Gallery opens its final show of the season, celebrating summer and the outdoors. “FLORA” is a collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture, prints and photographs reflecting nature. Stop by for a special wine and cheese reception on Tues, July 29, from 5 to 8 pm.
Ten percent of all proceeds of the sales will go to “Trees New York” (TNY), a charity dedicated to fostering New York’s trees. Trees New York was founded in 1976 to provide needed care to New York’s street trees during a period of budget cutbacks. Since then, TNY has trained over 9,000 volunteer pruners in all five boroughs, working to maintain healthy neighborhood trees.
The exhibit runs June 29 – July 24.
