The New York City Rescue Mission, an organization that provides food, clothing, shelter, and counseling to the poor and homeless, is planning its sixth annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet and is looking for volunteers and donors. They will host a feast for nearly 1000 less fortunate New Yorkers on Thanksgiving Day. The mission has been in Lower Manhattan area for the last 132 years. The group is hoping people donate money, clothing, or canned food. You can also help serve meals.
