The Cougars, coached by Manhattan Youth, continued their dominating ways Tuesday with a 41- 21 win over NEST in the quarterfinals. The lady Dragons in Chinatown beat Tompkins Square Middle School in the quarterfinals to set-up the chance to avenge their loss to the Cougars, who call Battery Park City home. The game will be at M.A.T. and the winner will play Sunday for the championship.
The Dragon boys are also undefeated and will be playing in the quarterfinals Thursday against TASS at Baruch.
The Cougar boys’ strong season ended Tuesday with a tough quarterfinal loss to Wagner, 50 – 46. The Cougars fell far behind in the first half but they played well in the second half, almost coming back to win.
