ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING RULES ARE IN EFFECT ALL WEEK
Downtowners, closures on the Hudson River crossings mean a slow return to Manhattan on Thursday night! Meanwhile, one New York-bound and one New Jersey-bound lane of the Holland Tunnel will close during the same time.
The Giants play the Cowboys 4:25 p.m. Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Expect slowdowns before and after the game. Fan traffic will jam the Lincoln Tunnel to a crawl and send drivers down to the Holland.

The annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade won’t close any streets, but the event keeps growing in popularity and size each year, so it’s sure to slow down traffic on Avenues A and B around the park from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.
An early Halloween Parade and Party will close Greenwich St. between Beach and Chambers Sts. 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
