Thursday, October 22 – Wednesday, October 28
ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING RULES ARE IN EFFECT ALL WEEK
Downtowners, closures on the Hudson River crossings mean a slow return to Manhattan on Thursday night! One tube of the Lincoln Tunnel will close 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, sending inbound traffic south to the Holland Tunnel. Meanwhile, one New York-bound and one New Jersey-bound lane of the Holland Tunnel will close during the same time.

The Giants play the Cowboys 4:25 p.m. Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Expect slowdowns before and after the game. Fan traffic will jam the Lincoln Tunnel to a crawl and send drivers down to the Holland.

On West St./Route 9A, one southbound lane will close between West Thames and Vesey Sts. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

The annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade won’t close any streets, but the event keeps growing in popularity and size each year, so it’s sure to slow down traffic on Avenues A and B around the park from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

An early Halloween Parade and Party will close Greenwich St. between Beach and Chambers Sts. 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Beats 1 Run will close South St. between Fulton and Broad Sts. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The March Against Displacement will close Pike St. between Cherry St. and East Broadway, East Broadway between Pike St. and Chatham Sq., Chatham Sq. between East Broadway and Worth St., Worth St. between Chatham Sq. and Broadway, and Broadway between Worth and Murray Sts. 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

All Manhattan-bound lanes of the Brooklyn Bridge will close 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights.

The Stone Street Pedestrian Mall will close Stone St. between Hanover Sq. and Broad St., and Mill Ln. between Stone and South William Sts. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day this week.
