Cops are looking for a would-be crook who tried to rob a man while riding the train in Chelsea.
Authorities say that at 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 5, an unknown man approached a 25-year-old man while riding the northbound F train toward the West 23rd Street subway station and demanded money. The suspect then pulled out a hypodermic needle at the victim.
The suspect ultimately fled the train empty-handed once it pulled into the station. The victim was not injured as a result.
