STORIES AND SONGS

16-week program of participatory music and stories for young children and accompanying adults intended to develop kids’ enjoyment of active listening, socializing and cultural literacy. Professional musicians and storytellers will entertain and teach each week. Rhythm instruments will be provided. To register, visit BPCPC’s offices Mon. – Fri. from 9:30am to Noon. Advance payment of $192 must be made in person by check or money order made payable to BPCPC. Wednesdays, Jan. 12 – April 27. Sessions are filling up quickly. Winter Festival

As Ice Theatre’s home rink since 1995, Sky Rink is proud to co-present the Winter Festival. The show highlights the artistic development and notably diverse repertory created by Ice Theatre of New York over its 20-year history. The five performances include revivals of past works as well as new pieces. Dec. 27-29 at 7pm; Dec. 29 -30 at 3pm. $20 adults; $15 students and seniors; $25 for the show and general ice skating, including skates.

Animation Celebration

Storybook Reading Workshop

Native basket weaving is featured in Little Firefly: An Algonquian Legend by Terri Cohlene and the story “Gluskabe and the Snow Bird” from the book Four Ancestors by Joseph Bruchac.
