Students at Bayside High School in Queens wound up in a lockdown Thursday due to a false report of an armed individual on campus, police reported.

The incident happened at around 12:40 p.m. at the high school located at 32-24 Corporal Kennedy St. Multiple police sources, including the local precinct’s commanding officer, indicated that the gun report — based off a Snapchat post — was deemed inaccurate.
