A motor scooter rider in the Bronx is in critical condition after he collided with a driver at a dangerous intersection early Saturday morning.

A 30-year-old man was heading east on E. 138th Street near Cypress Avenue in Mott Haven around 3:20 a.m. on July 16 in a Kia sedan and made a U-turn, when another man in the oncoming direction on a moped swiped his side and was flung onto the roadway, according to police.

Paramedics rushed the unidentified wounded man to Lincoln Hospital with serious head injuries, cops said.

The car driver stayed on the scene and was uninjured, and police did not report any arrests in the case.
