The waitlist is officially open for a handful of units in an affordable housing lottery in Chelsea.
According to NYC Housing Connect, the waitlist for 221 West 29th St. (known as Chelseas29) is open for one studio apartment, ranging from $621-658 a month, one one-bedroom unit, ranging from $740-780 a month, and a two-bedroom unit, at $2,743 a month.
Each unit has high-end appliances, countertops and finishes in the kitchen, air conditioning, and heat, hot water and gas for cooking are included in the rent. The building has a full-time attended lobby, a fitness center and media room, a rooftop terrace with an outdoor barbecue, security cameras, package lockers and more.
The building is also pet friendly, but there are breed restrictions.
Applications for this lottery must be submitted online or postmarked by Feb. 2, 2024. To apply, visit the listing on New York City’s Housing Connect website.
