These bars across New York City are hosting Super Bowl watch parties

Super Bowl LX is coming up this weekend with the New England Patriots set to take on the Seattle Seahawks at Levi Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, on Sunday, February 8. 

The matchup is a repeat of Super Bowl XLIX when Malcolm Butler’s famous last second interception saved the day for the Patriots, helping Tom Brady win his fourth Super Bowl. 

New Yorkers looking for an exciting viewing experience alongside other football fans are in luck. There are several watch parties being hosted across the city on Sunday. Here’s a list of some of the best. 

230 Fifth

1150 Broadway, New York, NY 10001

The team at 230 Fifth is throwing a rooftop Super Bowl party. There will be large screens so everyone can watch the game and classic gameday snacks, such as nachos or sliders, will be sold for $10. You must be 21-years-old and tickets, which can be purchased on Eventbrite, start at just under $30.

The Ainsworth – Midtown

45 E 33rd St, New York, NY 10016

The Ainsworth is hosting football fans and will have tons of screens set-up to maximize the viewing experience. There will be more than 50 TVs set up for the big game and special discounts on select food and drink. Tickets are not required and reservations can be made on Opentable. 

Tara Mor 

150 West 30th Street, New York, NY 10001

If you’re looking to enjoy a Guinness while you watch the big game, then you should check out the party at Tara Mor. The Irish pub near Penn Station is hosting a Super Bowl watch party and they’ve got more than 24 HD TVs.  Tickets are free and are available on Eventbrite. 

SOB’s

204 Varick St, New York, NY 10014

For those looking to emphasize the party in Super Bowl party, SOB’s is hosting an event for the big game that promises to be tons of fun. It’s self-described as the “wildest Super Bowl watch party” in New York. Fans can pick a team to support and get a free drink every time their team scores. Partygoers must be at least 21-years-old. It’s free to RSVP beforehand on their website to ensure you get a spot. 

Brooklyn Art Haus

24 Marcy Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211

The Brooklyn Art Haus is hosting a party which is open to fans of all ages. There’s a happy hour being offered from 4 to 6 p.m. at the neighbouring The Mouth before doors open for the watch party. Tickets are $10 and available on Eventbrite but that cost will go towards your bar tab. 

Lost in Paradise Rooftop

11-01 43rd Avenue, Queens, NY 11101

The Bad Bunny Super Bowl party at Lost in Paradise Rooftop in Queens promises to be a fun time. They’re promising to show Bad Bunny’s performance on full volume and will keep the good times going through the net with a reggaeton afterparty. Super early bird tickets are available for $10 until February 2 on Eventbrite. 

The DL NYC

95 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002

The DL is hosting a Super Bowl watch party with a full-volume showing of Bad Bunny’s halftime performance. There will also be reggaeton and latin inspired afterparty for those who want to stick around. This party is only for those 21 and up. The doors open at 5 p.m. on Sunday and tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite for just over $10. 

Playoffs Sports Lounge

5668 Broadway, The Bronx, NY, 10463

Playoffs Sports Lounge has got more than 30 big televisions ready for the big game. There will be a DJ making sure that the energy stays up and the party keeps going until 2 a.m. If you’re looking for an elevated experience, bottle service and VIP seating options are available. This event is open to adults only. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased online now.
