Hakeem Nicks, who missed Sunday’s 24-21 loss to the Cowboys, returned to practice on Wednesday.
The Giants receiver is recovering from a strained abdominal muscle, but a return to the practice field could be viewed as a good sign for his availability Sunday night at Washington against the Redskins.
Nicks is second on the team in receptions (42) and receiving yards (620) but has not scored a touchdown this season.
A return this weekend could give Nicks a solid chance to end his scoring drought. The Redskins are 26th in the NFL in passing defense are tied for third-worst with 22 passing touchdowns allowed.
