On the Inside Looking Out: A brand new exhibition is opening at the Queens Botanical Garden. The annual AnkhLave Garden Project is a fellowship that highlights the works of six Queens-based Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) artists. This year, six female artists of color with immigration journeys to the US put up displays in the natural outdoor space for patrons to enjoy. Broadway Murder Mystery: Who dunnit? That’s what you’ll find out during this virtual murder mystery show! Tensions are high on the first night of Murder in the First on Broadway, and it all takes a turn when the producer is found dead on stage. Join in the fun to see who the killer is — it might just be you! 8 p.m., Virtual, $6.99.

Fusion of Indie, Funk, Jazz and Electronica Concert: Tune in for a free concert that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home. The band, 800 lb. Gorilla, effortlessly blends indie songcraft with funk, jazz and electronica in a way that will have you on your feet and dancing in no time. 8 p.m., Virtual, Free.

Free Bubble Tea & Food Drive: Brooklyn’s Squarrel Cafe is handing out 100 free bubble teas and collecting non-perishable food items for donation. To get a free bubble tea, download the Dashible app, find the deal and order a medium bubble tea with bubbles. When you pick it up, be sure to bring something for the food drive! Juggling in the park: Want to learn a new party trick? Head out to Bryant Park for a juggling lesson. You can stop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time, either way, you’re in for a fun lesson. All skill levels are welcome. Bryant Park, Manhattan. 12 p.m., Free.

ColorLab art workshops: The Brooklyn Children’s Museum hosts ColorLab art workshops every weekend featuring a muse artist and family art projects inspired by their work. Before and after art-making, families attending ColorLab sessions are free to play in the exhibits during play session hours. Space is limited to ensure that families can spread out in the art studio. Brooklyn Children’s Museum, 145 Brooklyn Avenue, Brooklyn. 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m., $13.

My Soul Sings of Freedom: An Interactive Musical and Spoken Word Workshop with Gwendolyn Black: Celebrate the Black experience through this interactive virtual workshop. Gwendolyn Black will lead the way as you go through music, dialogue, and instrument playing as you learn. 2 p.m., Virtual, Free. 

Illusions The Drag Queen Show: You’re in for a night of fun at Illusions. The show combines burlesque style with comedy that will have you entertained all night long. Con Edison’s Family Science Night: Enjoy a night of family-friendly fun with Con Edison during their Family Science Night. Each participant will receive a take-home science kit and links to instructional videos created by Con Edison’s Greenbelt Educators. Registration is required beforehand. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Virtual, Free.

Save Birdland Concert: One of New York City’s iconic jazz clubs is in danger of closing up for good. A benefit concert to raise money for the Birdland club will take place live on YouTube on Sunday night. It’s free to watch, but they are collecting donations that will go directly to the club. 7 p.m., Virtual, Free (donations encouraged).
