Golf legend Arnold Palmer died on Sept. 25, 2016; he was 87.
Across those nearly nine decades, Palmer — who first hit the golf course at age 4 — made his mark both on the course and off.
“We are deeply saddened by the death of Arnold Palmer, golf’s greatest ambassador, at age 87,” the USGA said on Twitter.
