Hurricane Harvey donations: Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, other celebs offer aid

The comedian donated $50,000 to storm relief Monday and put his fellow A-listers up to the task.

“I’m challenging a lot of my celebrity friends to follow my lead in donating $25,000 to Hurricane Harvey, to the Red Cross, OK?” Hart said in an Instagram video, tagging Barack Obama, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and Jerry Seinfeld.

Hart and several other celebrities, including the Kardashian family and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, have offered a helping hand to the American Red Cross after Harvey slammed the South, causing extensive damage and severe flooding in Houston. The Category 4 storm hit Texas Friday night and was later downgraded to a tropical storm.
