Legendary songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen died at age 82, a statement on his Facebook page read on Thursday, Nov. 10.
“We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries,” a post on his Facebook page said.
Leonard moved to New York in 1966 with the hopes of kick-starting a career in the music industry, which he did so successfully. The artist’s most popular songs include “Hallelujah,” “Suzanne” and “So Long, Marianne.”
