The investigation continues into the death of a 46-year-old man who took a fatal plunge at Citi Field during the Dead & Company concert Friday night, police reported.

Cops said the man apparently took the tumble from a balcony during the performance at about 9:05 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the Mets home ballpark, located off the corner of 126th Street (Seaver Way) and Roosevelt Avenue.

Officers from the 110th Precinct stationed at the stadium found the man with “injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position.”

EMS rushed the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital in Flushing, where he died a short time later. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.

Published reports indicated that the victim may have been intoxicated when he took the deadly fall.

Meanwhile, the Mets organization expressed remorse over the man’s loss.

“We are aware of a tragic incident which sadly resulted in a fatality last night. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to the attendee’s loved ones,” the team said in a statement.
