Sustainable Fashion Market at Bar Moxy at Moxy Times Square: Shop ’til you drop while being sustainable at this pop-up in Times Square. Meet the creators behind sustainable brands such as Sticky Baby, Conscious Step, DENIMCRATIC, Artezina, and Hola! I’m Back and Gather Brooklyn. After spending a few minutes in the pop-up, you’ll find yourself filling your bag with all sorts of great fashion finds. This event runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Bar Moxy, 485 7th Ave, Times Square.

Movies Under the Stars: Moana: Ready for a feel-good night with friends and family? Head over to the park for a screening of the Oscar-nominated animated film “Moana.” Watch as Moana joins the shape-shifting demigod Maui as she tries to return the heart of Te Fiti to its rightful place. Grab a blanket and some snacks and come out to this fun night! This event is free to the public, the movie starts at dusk. Play Area in Gertrude Ederle Recreation Center, Upper West Side.

New Settlement 10th Annual Celebration Block Party: In celebration of the 10th anniversary of its Community Center, New Settlement is hosting a block party for the Bronx community. Those who stop by can enjoy a dunk tank, balloon animals, face painting, pop-a-shot basketball, bouncy house castles, food and more, plus backpacks and school supplies will also be distributed during a special giveaway to local students and families. The event starts at 12 pm. and is free to the public. Goble Place, between Macombs Road and Jerome Avenue, Bronx.

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck: Calling all Hello Kitty fans! The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is coming to the Staten Island Mall for one day only! Come by and shop for some exclusive Hello Kitty merchandise, including a new Hello Kitty Cafe Coin Bank, a Hello Kitty Cafe Lunchbox, hand-decorated cookie sets, enamel pins, plushies and so much more. The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck accepts only credit/debit card payments – no cash. The cafe will be parked outside of the mall near Barnes & Noble from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Staten Island Mall Barnes & Noble, 2655 Richmond Ave Suite 1590, Staten Island.

Screening of Everything Everywhere All At Once: Rooftop Films is hosting a special screening in Brooklyn of the new hit film “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” This event is free, but you must RSVP online ahead of time at eventbrite.com. September 11, 2001 Commemoration: Each year on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the families of victims gather for a ceremony on the 9/11 Memorial plaza to read aloud the names of those whose lives were lost on that tragic day as well as the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. The event is livestreamed on the 9/11 Memorial & Museum website starting at 8:40 a.m. that morning. Virtual.

Bronx Little Italy’s Annual Ferragosto: Celebrate all things Italian this weekend at the annual Ferragosto festival. Ferragosto celebrates the end of the harvest season and is an opportunity for local Bronx businesses to showcase their signature products and dishes for all visitors.
