“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” star Ellie Kemper has become a mom. “It’s a miracle! Congrats, Ellie Kemper,” the Netflix show’s verified Twitter page posted Tuesday, confirming co-star Tituss Burgess’ Facebook post Monday that announced Kemper, 36, and her husband of four years, writer Michael Koman, had a son.
Neither the parents nor their representatives have commented, and no details of time or place of birth, nor the infant’s name, have been given.
Kemper recently was nominated for an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her titular role as a bright-eyed naif exploring New York City after years as a cult leader’s captive.
