Bill Cunningham honored by New York Fashion Week photographers donning blue jackets

Nicholas K. kicked off the first official day of New York Fashion Week, but before the show, there was a private little ceremony to honor New York Times lensman Bill Cunningham.

During the ceremony, sponsored by IMG, more than 75 photographers and videographers in the photo pit received a blue jacket, a Cunningham trademark.

The iconic Times fashion photographer died in June at the age of 87.
