Head to upstate New York this July for a brand-new experience complete with breathtaking views, reconnect with nature and try tasty dishes and drinks.
Brandy fanatics can now experience the art of brandy making at Klocke Estate, a brandy distillery in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The 160-acre property is opening to the public on July 17, 2024.
Every aspect of the estate is perfectly thought out to provide guests with the most exquisite experience. The estate includes a working farm, vineyards, orchards, and a brandy distillery where guests are provided a unique experience where they are able to appreciate the process and understand the journey the liquid undergoes over time.
Guests will be able to feel a deep connection to the land and the craft of brandy.
The experience will be completed with a dining and drinking experience overlooking the orchards and vineyard. The menu is a mixture of American dishes with a soft French accent, curated by Chef Becky Kempter.
Dishes include Pork Porterhouse au poivre with wilted dandelions and farmstead cheese program featuring a dozen seasonally rotating American and imported cheeses.
Chef Kempter, originally from California, has extensive knowledge in pastry and savory cuisine. Her background from fast-casual pizza joints to working under James-Beard winning chefs have equipped her with a diverse and exciting culinary background.
The restaurant experience is completed by the perfectly curated space. Designed and perfected by Ken Fulk, the place boasts a full bar and a private dining space which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Catskills and the valley.
The restaurant is divided into floors and areas where guests can choose to enjoy a drink and dessert or opt for the full dining experience under Murano chandeliers.
