Detectives are questioning a 60-year-old man in connection with the deadly stabbing of his stepdaughter’s boyfriend at a Bronx apartment on Friday night, police sources said.

According to law enforcement sources, the man and the victim, 32-year-old Christian Montez, got into an apparent dispute just before 8:44 p.m. on Feb. 7 at an apartment on Valentine Avenue near East 187th Street in Fordham Heights.

Officers from the 46th Precinct were called to the location after receiving a 911 call about an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they found Montez outside the apartment, unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to his chest.

Police also located the 60-year-old man, whose identity was not released, with a slash wound to his face.

Paramedics rushed both men to St. Barnabas Hospital. Montez, who resided on Nelson Avenue in the Bronx, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The 60-year-old man was listed in stable condition, and later taken into police custody for questioning. Charges against him are pending, a source familiar with the investigation said.

Cops found a knife allegedly used in the attack close to the apartment.

The investigation is ongoing.
