200,000 march for gay rights on the D.C. Mall

An estimated 200,000 people marched in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, ratcheting up the calls for same-sex marriage, an end to “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” in the military and repeal of California’s Proposition 8. Above, veteran Patrick Bova was among the marchers. Right, young people were impassioned.
