Albert E. Gregory, 75, father of Villager retail ad manager

Albert E. Gregory, Jr. — father of Colin Gregory, The Villager’s retail ad manager — of Catskill, N.Y., died Sat., Jan. 19, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. He was 75.

A native of Catskill, Albert Gregory was the son of the late Albert and Lena (Bertolucci) Gregory Sr.

Albert Gregory served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an employee of IBM in Kingston and Poughkeepsie for more than 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a communicant at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Catskill and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #572 and IBM Quarter Century Club.

Gregory is survived by his wife, Rosemarie (Rich) Gregory of Catskill; his son Colin Gregory and companion Renee Williams of Woodside, Queens; a sister, Kathleen Krieg of Albany; brother-in-law and sister-in-law William and Clara Burger of Catskill; two grandchildren, Kyrie and Amadaline Gregory; and many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held at Traver & McCurry Funeral Home in Catskill. He was buried at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Catskill. Memorial contributions in Albert Gregory’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
