A 38-year-old Staten Island sanitation enforcement agent is paying for his sticky fingers, charged with stealing a department ceiling fan and trading it in for a gift card, police said.
Amad Anderson was charged on Wednesday with petit larceny, official misconduct, and criminal possession of stolen property.
Police said he took the fan from a shelf at his job on April 6 and brought it back to a Lowe’s home improvement store for a gift card.
Attorney information was not immediately available for Anderson.
