Chelsea Neighbors United To End The War, a group organized at the beginning of this year, will hold a candlelight walk to mark the second anniversary of the war in Iraq on March 18, assembling at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Eighth Ave. and 24th St.
The group will march through the streets of Chelsea carrying candles and flashlights, ringing bells and playing acoustic instruments. The Chelsea volunteer group is working with individuals and other groups who are conducting other demonstrations on the March 18 weekend to protest the war.
