A Stanley Aronowitz, Green Party candidate for governor in 2002 and professor of social theory at the CUNY Graduate Center, will talk on “The Sources and History of Radical Education” at 7:30 p.m. Tues. April 13 at the Brecht Forum, 10th floor, 122 W. 27th St. Aronowitz will discuss the ideas of John Dewey, Paulo Freire, Paul Goodman and Ivan Illich and the history of the free schools of the 1960s to the present. Admission to the event, sponsored by the Anarchist Forum of Libertarian Book Club, is open but a $5 contribution is suggested.
