Children of the garden

On Sat., Oct. 1, the 6th and B Garden in the East Village held its annual Harvest Fest. The smell of grilling corn, burgers and chicken mingled with the sounds of musical groups Trio Geo and Side Car a Go Go. A raffle awarded lucky winners with gifts to many local businesses. Above, Isabella Malagen, 4, of Tribeca, who attends school in the East Village, indulged in some face-painting while younger sister Naomi, 7 months, will maybe try it at next year’s Harvest Fest.
