Cleared for Customs

The plaza in front of the U.S. Custom House filled with dozens of discarded trees for Mulch Mania last Saturday. The second annual Downtown Alliance event in Bowling Green featured equipment that broke down the trees into mulch, which attendees could take home. The Custom House, one of the city’s first landmarks, holds the National Museum of the American Indian and the Southern District Bankruptcy Court.
