TRANSPORTATION, S.L.A./ECONOMIC DEVEL0PMENT AND SANITATION/ PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEES — AVENUE B COMMUNITY MEETING: Mon. April 3, 6:30 p.m., Tompkins Square Park Middle School, 600 E. Sixth St. (between Avenues B and C). A joint committee meeting intended to allow residents and nightlife businesses on Avenue B and nearby side streets to participate in a dialogue on quality-of-life issues. Various city agencies, including the Police Department and State Liquor Authority, have been asked to send representatives. The Department of Transportation will explain a pilot program for weekend nights between Second and Fourth Sts.
