Diether does zoning lecture series

Doris Diether, zoning consultant and vice chairperson of the Community Board 2 Zoning Committee, will give a series of four evening lectures, “Decoding Zoning in NYC” on successive Wednesdays from Oct. 12 to Nov. 4 at the CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Ave. at 34th St.

The lectures, sponsored by The Municipal Art Society and the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, are from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. and begin with “An Overview of Zoning, Past and Present” on Oct. 12, and continue with “Zoning and Aesthetic Impact” on Oct. 19, “Uses and Signs” on Oct. 26 and “The Role of Agencies” on Nov. 2.
