SHABBAT IN THE MISSISSIPI DELTA – “Shalom Y’All” a new exhibit at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, tells the story of the Southern Jewish experience through 44 black-and-white photographs by Bill Aron. Above, a table set for the traditional Shabbat meal overlooks a field of cotton in Cary, Mississippi. Opens June 7 and runs thru Sept. 13. SCOUTING IN CHINATOWN In a neighborhood as diverse as Chinatown, the Boys, Girls and Cub Scouts of America played a pivotal role in introducing immigrant children to American society during the early half of the 20th Century. “Be Prepared: Scouting in New York Chinatown” is the new exhibit at the Museum of Chinese in the Americas.
