Pam Chmiel’s Teen Entrepreneur Boot Camp, which has bought several popup coffee shops to the Seaport, is expanding to college students and fashion.
In January, Chmiel will run a weeklong workshop for college students on launching a handbag line, and is offering scholarships to two of the students. Industry professionals will teach the students about manufacturing and marketing in the fashion industry, and then the students will help a young entrepreneur plan the release of her handbags.
The boot camp is open to students ages 18 to 23 and will run from Jan. 11 – 15. Chmiel is offering the two full scholarships based on applicants’ short statement of interest in the program, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants can contact Chmiel at 212-227-7276 or pam@tebc.info for more information. The cost for other students is $429.
