Spring might seem like a long-way off as the weather finally turns colder, but the March 1 deadline to apply for a ball field permit in the Battery Park City Parks Conservancy is fast approaching. Permits, which are required for groups of ten or more, are available on a limited basis and late permits will be considered as space permits. The grass fields open on May 1.
