The Greenwich Village Orchestra, Don Adolfo Orquesta and KR3T’s Dance Company have been among the performers at the Summer in the Square series of free events in Union Square. Above, participants enjoyed a free yoga class with OM Yoga.
Still to come are musical selections ranging from the jazz singing of Rebecca Pronsky and her band to the improvisational tunes of the Peter Spink Band; and a wide array of dance styles, including the toe-stepping of the Niall O’Leary Irish Dance Troupe and the colorful African dancing of the Harambee Dance Company. Barnes & Noble will also sponsor children’s book readings.
