Gilberto Romero, 39, was charged with assault and menacing following his arrest related to a family dispute, police said. According to a law enforcement official, Romero is accused of Tasering his 15-year-old daughter. recommended reading Major crime in NYC by borough Police said the alleged assault happened on Thursday around 11:45 a.m. A spokesperson for the homeless services agency said the department could not comment on the case. "Due to a pending investigation, we are precluded from commenting on this matter. However, are concerned by these troubling allegations," the spokesperson said.
