Leaving some art behind

Members of the Free Art Society installed paintings and did performance art along E. Second St. between Avenues A and B in the early hours of Nov. 8, in an effort to brighten residents’ Monday morning. The project is part of the artists collective’s ongoing effort “to reclaim public space for the people.”
