A small group of anti-war protestors gathered near the World Trade Center site Wednesday, the day after the death toll of the U.S. military forces in Iraq reached 2,000 — 749 fewer than were killed at the W.T.C. on Sept. 11, 2001. The demonstrators estimate the number of Iraqi civilian deaths to be 100,000 although the estimates for that vary widely and a group called Iraq Body Count puts the number at between 26,000 and 30,000.
