New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio discussed allegations of physical abuse made against Eric T. Schneiderman, the state attorney general, during a news conference Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Schneiderman denied wrongdoing, but he resigned abruptly after several women made the allegations in an article published Monday in The New Yorker magazine.
