New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts intends to open a graduate program in film production in Singapore in the fall of 2007. The Singapore campus will offer a three-year course leading to a Master of Fine Arts degree. The Tisch School of the Arts Asia program will occupy a former television production building in Singapore’s central business center. The building will be fitted with the latest production equipment and will eventually have 250 students. N.Y.U. has a presence on three continents and has joint-degree programs with the National University of Singapore in law and with the London School of Economics.
