Not televised, but cherished nonetheless

Though it’s the tree at Rockefeller Center that usually hogs the spotlight this time of year, the tree lighting at the South Street Seaport last Friday had quit the fanfare and was spectacular in its own right. One could say it’s the difference between the locals and the tourists that sets the traditions apart.
