Only the shadow knows

Richard Hambelton, known for his lurking shadow paintings on building walls, was not included in the current 1980s Downtown art show at New York University’s Grey Art Gallery. Recently, Hambelton came into the gallery, checked out where the security cameras were, took out his paint and quickly put up a shadow figure on the wall. There was and still is no mention of Hambelton in the exhibition — but the gallery has not taken down his work.
